Among the great cultural experiences available in Central Florida, an evening at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is one of the most elegant, entertaining, and memorable. The innovative, beautiful building, prominently featuring full facades of windows, only recently opened to the public in late 2014. From its prime location in the heart of downtown Orlando, it has become the region’s premier performing arts destinations and an arts and culture leader in the state and the South.
Shows at the Venue
The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts hosts world-class talent on its stages in the 2,700-seat Walt Disney Theater and more intimate 300-seat Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater. This is a truly comprehensive performing arts space. It hosts concerts for all musical tastes and moods, including classical, opera, jazz, blues, rock, and more. Traveling Broadway shows, plays, musicals, ballet and other dance, comedy, and celebrity presentations are other regular offerings.
Make It Dinner and a Show
